House of Trading lets you view your holdings and place trades in your own broker account. We never take custody of your money or securities, and we do not sell your data. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account details — the username and password you use to sign in to House of Trading. On your device, your login session is stored in encrypted storage (Android EncryptedSharedPreferences) and the app can be locked with your fingerprint or device biometric.
- Broker API credentials — if you connect a broker (e.g. Groww), the API key and secret you provide are stored encrypted on our server and are used only to read your holdings and to place orders you initiate. They are never shown back to the app or shared with anyone.
- Trading data — your holdings, positions and orders, retrieved from your broker to display them and to place the orders you direct.
- Push token — a Firebase Cloud Messaging token for your device, so we can send you trade and automation alerts. It is registered when you sign in and removed when you sign out.
- Technical logs — standard server logs (IP address, timestamps, error traces) kept for security and to operate the service.
How we use it
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To place trades in your own broker account, at your direction, and to show your portfolio.
- To send you alerts about your orders and automation status.
House of Trading provides self-directed tools. We do not provide investment advice or recommendations, and we never trade on your behalf without your instruction.
Who we share it with
- Your broker — to read holdings and place the orders you initiate.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — to deliver push notifications (your device token and the alert content).
- Cloud hosting (Google Cloud) — where our backend runs.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Security
Traffic between the app and our server uses HTTPS only. Your broker secrets are encrypted at rest on our server; your login session is encrypted on your device; and the app supports a biometric lock.
Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. Broker credentials are kept until you disconnect the broker or delete your account. Push tokens are removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.
Your choices
You can disconnect a broker at any time, turn off notifications in your device settings, or ask us to delete your account and associated data by emailing support@houseoftrading.app.
Children
House of Trading is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and post the new version on this page.
